I will miss u Mumbai
I will miss u Mumbai
While I sit in the balcony with this cup of coffee in my hand, looking at the pouring horizons, a sudden sense of desolation hits me!!! I am yet again set to leave my comfy settled abode for a new city, whose just the name I know, where I have never been before, to make it a home, again…. for some limited number of years.
But was not it the same, exactly three years ago. I paid it a temporary visit in this same month of pouring july, because Ankur was unable to decide on our new home, and to avoid my disappointment (may be feared wrath), he wanted my nod. His doubts were not beyond grounds too!!! We were ready to pay a rent of above 40k and for that amount, the houses which the agents were showing us had rooms so small that we doubted if our furniture will fit in, had no balconies whatsoever, very little or almost non-existent playing areas…..and…. you get the drift.
No wonder we had to wait for six months before we got a desired home!!!! And we finally shifted in December.
But those were the only glitches. Despite the warnings from my friends at Noida, I found Mumbai very welcoming, in no time I had a large circle of friends, larger than the one I had at previous places. Ankur has a Table tennis group for the first time, Jiya has also been absorbed into her group since then and it tears my heart to leave all of it. But is not it a part of life?
Let’s see what Hyderabad has in store for us!!!!
